HI! I’M LINDSAY.

I'm a designer, swimmer, and mother of two from California. After many years in the apparel industry as a developer and designer, I embarked on mission to redefine swimwear.

I was inspired to create swimsuits for women after the experiences I had in swimwear postpartum. Trying on swimsuits can be an unpleasant experience, but I struggled even more with this after having children. I needed something that was secure and held me in all the right places, but not so covered-up that I sacrificed style. I couldn't find anything in the market that was quite right, so rather than fight against my body's evolution, I decided to design a collection of suits to work with an evolving body.

My mama’s styles are lined with powermesh - a powerful (and comfortable) four-way stretch fabric that supports your midsection. The exterior fabric is ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon fiber obtained from fishnets and other nylon waste, that can be recycled infinitely. The silhouettes are designed to flatter your shape, stay-put when worn, and withstand the high impact hugs and tugs from your little ones.

And speaking of little ones, I am launching le larc KIDS in Summer 2020 featuring a collection of sustainable children’s swimwear with a distinct point of view. Wear-tested by the children in my community, le larc KIDS is made to move, splash, and play with your most active littles. Made from the same regenerated nylon ECONYL® fiber and high-quality components as the women’s collection, le larc KIDS incorporates the same sustainable concepts and design principles in all styles.
